I’m very excited to be sharing advice over at MindBodyGreen. My latest article stems from a fairly personal journey having battled through post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the subsequent depression, anxiety and fluctuating mood that came along with it since I was around 16 years of age. Researching ways to manage poor mood through nutrition and other healthy behaviours is one of my key areas of interest and specialisation. Eating a more consistently healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean meats and whole grains, and devoid of overly processed foods, nasty fats and refined sugars, certainly helps! There are also more specific nutrients and food choices to be aware of.
